Arizona is Fortunate to offer a tax credit on state taxes. This applies to all Arizona taxpayers.Any taxpayer may contribute up to $200.00 per individual or $400.00 per married couple filing a joint return in taxable year 2007 to any fee- required extra-curicular activitiy offered at the school of their choice. This is a direct credit, not a deduction. That means it is subtracted from the tax that you owe and is fully refunded for up to $400.00. For example, if you regularly owe $500.00 a year in Arizona state income taxes and give $400.00 to a school, you would only owe $100.00 for the year you gave a tax credit. It literally costs you nothing to give the $400.00. It comes back to you as a credit, refunded or reduction.

This is a wonderful win/win situation. As a taxpayer, you are able to reduce your tax burden while contributing directly to the school programs of your choice. Our local schools would welcome any amount as a tax contribution.

In the printable .rtf format flyer you will see the many options we have available that need your support. We can accept any amount from $10.00 to $400.00. Your school board and administration ask for your participation. The amount contributed may be distributed as you choose.

We urge you to help share this message with all Arizona taxpayers; your friends, neighbors and relatives. It's time to take advantage of this ability to benefit our students. Join us in our efforts towards excellence as we remember, "Educating Everyone Takes Everyone."

If we can be of further assistance to you or answer any questions for you, please call (928)768-3344. Your local tax consultants are well aware of this outstanding option and are also prepared to assist you.

Sincerely

The Topock Governing Board & Administration.
