In this life sometimes someone comes along who touches the lives of many in ways we will never forget.

  They may reach out to those less fortunate then themselves and offer a helping hand, or maybe share a lesson which you'll carry through this land. Perhaps it's the gentle sound of their encouraging voice, lending you strength, or maybe just the courage they exhibit in a time when so many would cling to fear.

  These are the people who live on in our hearts even if they do not walk in our presence daily, they walk in our lives and memories for all time.

 Commander "Jake" Jacobs...we will always carry with us the love you shared for your country, your fellow man..and liberty which you held so dear to your heart. Jake, you live on in every tiny voice who proclaims their allegiance to this great country and the flag which we fly with love and pride.

Each sunrise will bring the beautiful memories you gave us when you raised our flag with pride.

The entire staff and student body at Topock Elementary School will remember Jake fondly and celebrate in the wonderful life Jake shared with so many of us through his work in the community and as a true hero to those he touched with his gentle heart.
